True Colorz: Web Site for YA LGBT Fiction
Posted on 08:57 by Unknown
I found a new web site that's geared for YA LGBT fiction and wanted to link to it. One, because I don't think there are many out there. Two, because I'm posting something about YA fiction in general later this week and I thought it would be interesting to make reference to this site. My post will deal more with sex in YA books...and whether or not it should be there at all. And three, because it reminds me of Cyndi Lauper, and I love all things Cyndi Lauper.
I've also read a few of the authors that are part of this group and I've loved their books, so I think this transition into YA is going to be interesting from a reader's POV. Although I'm getting more interested in New Adult as a genre, some of the best books I read and reviewed in 2012 were YA. Not LGBT YA. But more mainstream novels, and I'll post more about that later this week.
You can get there from here.
And here's something from the site:
True Colorz is a web space dedicated exclusively to Young Adult LGBTQ literature. TC was started by a group of authors and readers who recognized the need for a site which exclusively features YA books and their authors.
